How do I update my email address and password?

Please Sign in or go to My Account. You should see the “Account Details” and you can update all your information on this page. Before you close out of the page, be sure to save.

How do I update my billing and mailing information?

Please Sign in or go to My Account. Then, click on the “Address” to update your billing and mailing information. Your billing and mailing addresses must match.

Can I stop receiving emails from Luxury Fashion Rentals?

Yes. You can unsubscribe by clicking the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the emails you have received. We strongly recommend that you do not unsubscribe, as you will not receive IMPORTANT reminder emails about your rentals.

How does renting work?

Select the item of your choice and proceed to checkout. You will receive your rental in the mail. Once you’re done, simply go to a local UPS store and return. See How it Works

Can I use more than one promo code at a time?

No, you are only allowed to use one promo code at a time for an order.

What is the age requirement to use the rental service?

You must be 21 and over to use our rental service.

Why is a credit check required?

A credit check (don’t worry, it won’t hurt your credit score) is required to rent your first handbag. No Social Security Number is required. If there are any open collection accounts in the credit report, the application will be denied. A credit check is required due to the high value of our rental products. We reserve the right to run additional credit checks and cancel orders if necessary. See Terms & Conditions

Do I need my Social Security Number to have my credit checked?

For all credit checks, no Social Security Number is required. None of our credit checks will affect your credit score.

What if I don’t pass the credit check?

We will issue you a refund and there will be a 5% fee on the total of the order (rounded to the nearest dollar). Please allow 5-10 business days to see the refund on your card.

What is the 5% fee for?

If the credit check is not passed, there will be a 5% fee on the total of the order (rounded to the nearest dollar). This fee is to cover the processing charges associated with the order.

Can I get insurance for my rental?

No, we do not offer insurance on any of our items. If your rental is returned in a damaged or unusable condition which has an effect on the item being rented in the future, you will be charged the full retail amount of the item plus 9.5% sales tax and a replacement fee. We reserve the right to close anyone’s account at any time.

What if I’m renting an item and I damage it?

If an item is returned with damage above normal wear and tear, you will be responsible for the full retail amount of the item plus 9.5% sales tax and a replacement fee. Ownership of the item will then be transferred to you. Additionally, we reserve the right to close anyone’s account at any time. The following items are examples of what is NOT considered normal wear and tear

  1. Denim stains
  2. Makeup stains
  3. Ink stains
  4. Food stains
  5. Any other alterations to the appearance or anything that causes an unusable condition

What if my rental is lost or stolen?

If a rental is lost or stolen, you will be responsible for the full retail amount of the item plus 9.5% sales tax and a replacement fee. We reserve the right to close anyone’s account at any time.

What if I lose any of the items that come with my rental?

Any items that come with your shipment, such as dust bag, shoulder strap, top handle, etc. will be charged for the amount of each item. See Terms & Conditions

Are any of the items you offer replicas?

We DO NOT rent any replicas. Every item on Luxury Fashion Rentals is original and 100% authentic. See Authentic

Where is the authenticity card in my Chanel handbag?

We have taken out authenticity cards in all Chanel handbags due to security reasons and potential loss or theft of the handbag. If you have any concerns about the authenticity of your rental please email info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or contact us through our Chat and we will verify its authenticity for you.

How much does it cost to ship?

We offer free standard shipping through UPS for all customers. If there is a request to have an item expedited, we have an option for 2-day shipping for an additional fee. For all shipments, an adult signature is required. We reserve the right to change our shipping policy at any time.

Once my order is submitted, how long until I receive my rental?

Every order will require one day of processing before shipment (Monday – Friday). Arrival of each shipment depends on your location; Luxury Fashion Rentals is located in Manhattan Beach, California.

Why is an adult signature required for my shipment?

We require an adult signature (21 & over) on all shipments due to the high value of the products being shipped. This is to verify that your order has been received.

What if I’m not available to sign for the shipment?

If you cannot sign for the shipment, you will receive a notice from UPS and they will attempt to deliver the shipment the next business day. To schedule a delivery time or to pick up the package at your local UPS location, please contact us at info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or through our Chat.

Can UPS hold my package when I am on vacation or gone for several days?

Yes, UPS can hold your package but you must contact us at info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or through our Chat to schedule a delivery time. Additional fees may apply.

Can I receive my rental sooner?

If there is a request to have an item expedited, we have an option for 2-day shipping for an additional fee. See Shipping & Returns

Can I get my rental sent to international addresses, hotels, P.O. Boxes or APOs?

We currently do not ship to international addresses, hotels, P.O. Boxes or APOs.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders cannot be canceled due to the high demand for each handbag. However, a store credit will be issued for the rental price of the handbag you ordered. Once an order is submitted, the handbag will be shipped to you. When you receive your order and you still decided that you don’t want the handbag, you may return your rental. Returns will only be accepted if the Luxury Fashion Rentals tag remains attached, the rental is sent back within 2 business days of arrival and scanned by UPS when being shipped. A store credit will be issued for the value of your rental once we receive it. You will receive your store credit through email confirmation and your store credit will only be valid for your account.

What is the return policy?

Returns will only be accepted if the Luxury Fashion Rentals tag remains attached, the rental is sent back within 2 business days of arrival, and scanned by UPS when being shipped. A store credit will be issued for the value of your rental once we receive it. You will receive your store credit through email confirmation and your store credit will only be valid for your account. There is one return allowed per order. See Shipping & Returns

What if I’m not happy with my order or the item appears to be damaged before I used it?

If a rental doesn’t meet your criteria, please send back the rental within 2 business days of arrival, make sure the Luxury Fashion Rentals tag remains attached, and scanned by UPS when being shipped. A store credit will be issued for the value of your rental once we receive it. You will receive your store credit through email confirmation and your store credit will only be valid for your account. How many times can I return an item?

Due to the high demand for each handbag, you are allowed one return per order. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or through our Chat.

What is the process on receiving a refund or store credit?

We don’t offer any refunds. A store credit assessment will take place within 2 business days once the rental arrives. The assessment process includes an inspection of the item and then we process the store credit.

How do I return my rental?

  1. Place the item into the ship/return box. Also place the dust bag(s) and all other included items into the ship/return box.
  2. Stick the UPS return label (provided with the order) on the ship/return box. Missing your return label? You can email info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or contact us through our Chat and we can send you a new one to print off.
  3. Once the rental and all other included items are placed into the ship/return box, zip the ship/return box closed. Thread the zip tie through the zippers to firmly lock and secure. NOTE: The zip tie can only be used once, so don’t tie it until you’re ready to ship your item.
  4. Visit your local UPS store and drop off the ship/return box. Make sure to receive a receipt to confirm your drop off is completed.

What if my rental period ends on a Sunday or holiday?

If your rental period ends on a Sunday or holiday, return your rental to your local UPS store the following day. You will not be charged for an additional cycle.

Where is the closest UPS to me?

Please visit the UPS website to find the closest store.

What if I lose or can’t find the return label?

You can email info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or contact us through our Chat and we can send you a new one to print off.

What if my return label does not scan when I go to the UPS store?

Every return label will have an expiration date. If your label is expired or does not scan, you can email info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or contact us through our Chat and we can send you a new one to print off.

Will I get notified when my rental is returned?

Yes, you will receive an email from UPS once your rental has been returned. You will also receive an email from Luxury Fashion Rentals once your rental has been inspected (no missing parts, no damage to the rental, no personal belongings left inside the rental, etc).

What should I do if I lose or misplace the ship/return box?

You must properly and securely pack and store the rental item in your own box before shipping back to us. Any damages during transit will result in you being liable. You will be charged $50 for the lost ship/return box. See Terms & Conditions

Can I keep the ship/return box and/or dust bag?

No, all items that come in the ship/return box, including the ship/return box must be shipped back with the rental item. If you lose or fail to return the Luxury Fashion Rental ship/return box, you will be charged $50. See Terms & Conditions

What should I do if I can’t find the zip tie provided for the return?

Make sure to search the box for the zip tie; every ship/return box will have two zip ties provided in an envelope. If the zip tie cannot be located, please use another zip tie which will securely lock the ship/return box. It is important to secure the ship/return box provided. This is to protect you to ensure the rental is not stolen or damaged during transit. You are liable for any incidents that occur during transit.

How does the Wishlist work?

You can save items that you would like to rent in the future. If the item is available, you will receive an email and be able to rent it.

Is there an option to purchase a rental item?

Yes, please contact us at info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or through our Chat.

How long can an item be rented for?

There is no time limit to rent an item. The length for how long you choose to rent an item is up to you. Your account will be charged for the item if you decide to continue renting after one business day of your rental period due date.

When does the rental period start?

The rental period starts the day your rental is delivered.

When is my rental due date?

Please Sign in or go to My Account. Then, click on the “Orders” > “Order #” to see your rental due date.

Is it possible to rent more than one item at a time?

Currently you are limited to rent one item at a time.

Can the rental period of an item be changed?

We only offer 14-day and 30-day rental periods. If you decide that you would like to rent your item again but change the period, please email us at info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or contact us through our Chat and we will change the period for that item you are renting.

When will I be charged for my rental item?

You will be charged the day you place the order.

What if I am a day late or more on returning my rental?

You will be charged for the next rental cycle.

Are the rental items brand new or used?

All of the rentals we offer are like new. Every item we offer is thoroughly cleaned and inspected before we ever allow it to be rented. There may be some wear and tear on the rentals, but nothing to the extent of diminishing the look and feel. If a rental doesn’t meet your criteria, please email us at info@luxuryfashionrentals.com or contact us through our Chat.

What should I do with the tag on my rental?

Every rental you receive will have a tag. If for any reason you are not happy with your rental, DO NOT remove the tag. You must return within 2 days of receiving. If the tag is removed, you will not receive any store credit for the rental.

Can I pay by money order or check?

Currently there is no option to pay by money order or check.
